We live on a lake in Northern California and have always had a few swallow nests to contend with. Each year we knock them down during construction and that seems to do the trick. We were gone over the weekend and returned to find hundreds of birds all working hard to build nests under the eaves almost all around the house. It's a mess. We're under seige! I'm looking for help!
