2: What types of animals, birds or reptiles do you not service?
We service all wild animal,
bird, reptile, or insect needs, but we do not provide trapping
services for big game animals (ex. deer, elk, cougars, mountain
lions, eagles, hawks, etc.) For these animals we only provide control services
to keep them off of properties. This is done through the use of
exclusionary fencing, blocking, hardware cloth, repairs, etc.

We service cities nationwide through the utilization of professional
trappers or wild animal control operators who provide animal, bird,
reptile, or bug control. We also provide coaching services where
service techs are not available. We utilize the telephone, call

- How do you trap or gain control of wild animals, birds, and reptiles?
- Do you use humane traps while trapping?
- Do you tranquilize the animals when you remove them from a structure?
- After you capture the wild animal, bird or reptile and remove it from our residential or commercial site, what do you do with it?
- When you remove families of animals from a structure, do you relocate them as a family?
- When trapping doesn’t work, what other methods could be used?
- Do you exterminate through the use of pesticides or insecticides (kill products)?
1: How do you trap or gain control of wild animals, birds, and reptiles?
We use special traps
with animal specific lures or bait. Once the problem animal, bird, or reptile is caught, we remove it
from the structure or
property.
Top of Control Methods
2: Do you use humane traps while trapping?
All of our traps are humane traps meaning that we use safe live
traps. Different styles of traps are used for different animals.
In the various states, wildlife control agencies and city and county
animal controls have laws allowing certain types of traps to be
used. If you have a preference for the type of trap that we use, you are welcome
to suggest alternative trapping techniques. Some states and cities
allow the use of snap or body gripping traps, which kill humanely
as they are activated by the animal. Customers may request a preferred
trap.

3: Do you tranquilize the animals when you remove them from a structure?
Many of the animals that
get into attics, walls, chimneys, or crawlspaces need to be controlled
by tranquilizing techniques. Normally, safe trapping techniques
are used along with catch poles to snare the animal.

4: After you capture the wild animal, bird or reptile and remove it from our residential or commercial site, what do you do with it?
Depending on the health of the animal and state or county
laws, animals must be euthanized or relocated to an area where
they will not create a conflict with the public in the future. As
much as possible, we try to find a wild environment in which they may be relocated.
Top of Control Methods
5: When you remove families of animals from a structure, do you relocate them as a family?
Ofttimes if the general
health of the animal is good and the offspring will likely survive, then the
female and her young will be relocated to a habitat that is conducive
for that particular species.

6: When trapping doesn’t work, what other methods could be used?
Pesticides, insecticides,
and poisons can be used, but professional trapping, exclusion
or block-out will normally solve the problem. When using poisons, we must take precautions to prevent the animals from dying in an area where it will create
a dead animal odor, maggots, and fly infestations. When this scenario occurs, the body
decomposes over a period of six weeks to two years, depending
on the size of the animal. The smell and insect pests that the carcasses attract are extremely unpleasant. This is why trapping and exclusion are the preferred methods.

7: Do you exterminate through the use of pesticides or insecticides (kill products)?
Yes, depending on the situation, we utilize kill products. Our insecticides and pesticides are perfectly safe
for humans and pets and can be used indoors for insect control. However,
we try not to use kill products inside crawlspaces, attics,
living areas or working areas for animal control, bird control, or reptile
control.

- Is there a local government who will take care of the problem for free?
- How much do you charge for animal, bird, and reptile control work?
- Do you accept credit cards or purchase orders as payment options?
- Why do you charge for trapping and removal of animals?
1: Is there a local government who will take care of the problem for free?
No, for liability concerns
the city and county agencies do not take care of wild animal
problems. If a wild animal, bird, reptile or insect
is causing damage to your home or commercial building, it is your
responsibility to hire a contractor like us to resolve the problem.
City and county agencies are normally only helpful with tame or domestic
dogs. They are not in charge of wild animals or cats. Dog work
is the only work that is free from the city.

2: How much do you charge for animal, bird, and reptile control work?

of a structure, your location in relation to the service technician, and the danger
factor associated with controlling a particular animal, bird, reptile, insect,
etc.
Top of Pricing
3: Do you accept credit cards or purchase orders as payment options?
Yes, we take VISA, MasterCard, or American Express as a form of
payment. We also accept company purchase orders with a guarantee

4: Why do you charge for trapping and removal of animals?
We are a private professional business.
City animal control does not provide these types
of services; they are usually overwhelmed with domestic
dog complaints. It is also illegal for animal control to provide
wild animal services.
